We speed up renewable energy development for communities
The primary purpose of community solar is to allow members of a community the opportunity to share the benefits of solar power even if they cannot or prefer not to install solar panels on their property. Project participants benefit from the electricity generated by the community solar farm, which costs less than the price they would ordinarily pay to their utility.
Community Choice Aggregation (CCA) is a new model that allows for communities to join together to purchase electricity on behalf of their community members. Community choice programs are administered by local governments with a mission to boost the renewable energy consumption for communities by offering competitive alternatives to investor-owned utility sources.
- Proven track record of delivery of community solar projects
- Actively developing greenfield solar projects for CCA
- Environmentally responsible for communities and local government
ET Capital has been developing community solar project since 2016, and we have successfully delivered community solar asset to Independent Power Producers (IPPs), such as NRG.
With the emerging high demand from CCA, we are actively selecting sites to develop locally-generated, locally-consumed solar power for communities and local government.
We also create jobs for local government by implementing the project via local hiring.
